Challenge West Virginia is a statewide organization of parents, educators and other West Virginians committed to maintaining and improving small community schools. Our goal is to reform education in the Mountain State so that citizens have a voice in policy decisions and every child has the opportunity to receive a first-class education and the promise of a bright future.

Help Challenge Continue Serving West Virginia’s Kids

Since its’ inception nearly ten years ago Challenge WV has remained committed to maintaining and improving small community schools, statewide. Our goal is to reform education in the Mountain State so that citizens have a voice in policy decisions and every child has an equal opportunity to receive a first-class education and the promise of a bright future. Among others, one such realized goal was the passage of Challenge WV’s proposed, House Bill 4406, which limits long bus rides for elementary students.
